Henderson Institute Historical Museum

The Henderson Institute School operated during segregation to educate black teachers and pupils until 1970 when it closed due to integration. View extensive displays of artifacts along with oral and written records, historical photographs, objects, and school memorabilia from the schools past. The museum's vast amount of historical documentation operates as an archive for African American facts and memorabilia of Vance County.
